Privacy Policy
1. Scope and Pre-Launch Status
This Privacy Policy explains how Sojisphere Solutions LLC ("Sojisphere," "PODremit," "we,""us," or "our") handles personal information when you visit https://podremit.com, join the PODremit™ waitlist, view demonstrations, contact us, or participate in other pre-launch website interactions (collectively, the "Pre-Launch Website"). PODremit™ is a product of Sojisphere Solutions LLC and is currently in development. It is not presently offered as a live payment, remittance, stored-value, escrow, money-transmission, merchant-settlement, or banking service.
This Policy does not govern a live PODremit™ mobile application or transactional platform. Before any pilot or commercial service collects identity-verification information, payment instructions, merchant-onboarding information, transaction records, risk signals, or similar product data, we will publish revised product privacy notices describing the actual features, providers, data flows, legal obligations, retention periods, and choices.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Email address and other contact details submitted through the waitlist or correspondence.
- Waitlist choices, product-interest information, feedback, survey responses, meeting requests, and messages.
- Business and professional information provided by prospective merchants, vendors, advisers, investors, lenders, applicants, or partners.
- Other information you voluntarily provide. Do not submit payment-card information, bank credentials, government identification, health records, or biometric information through the public Website.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Pre-Launch Website, we and our providers may receive IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie or device identifiers, and diagnostic or security information.
Waitlist provider
The waitlist form submits information to Mailchimp, operated by The Rocket Science Group LLC and its affiliates, for list management and email communications. Mailchimp receives the information entered in the form and related technical information under its own privacy notice and our service arrangement.
Information not collected through a live product
At the Effective Date, the Pre-Launch Website does not provide public payment accounts or process consumer-to-merchant transactions. We therefore do not collect full payment-card numbers, online-banking credentials, government identification for product identity verification, biometric identifiers, or live PODremit™ transaction histories through an operational public product.
3. How We Use Information
- Operate, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Pre-Launch Website.
- Manage the waitlist and send product-development, future-pilot, and launch-related updates.
- Respond to inquiries and communicate about PODremit™, demonstrations, research, partnerships, funding, careers, or requested information.
- Evaluate prospective merchants, vendors, partners, advisers, applicants, and business opportunities.
- Analyze aggregate interest and feedback to support product planning.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents, fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms.
- Comply with the law, protect rights and safety, maintain records, and establish or defend legal claims.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to providers supporting website hosting, content delivery, security, embedded media, waitlist management, email delivery, communications, analytics, and professional services; to professional advisers, auditors, insurers, lenders, investors, or prospective transaction counterparties when reasonably necessary and subject to appropriate safeguards; to government or judicial authorities when required or permitted by law; to a successor or participant in a corporate transaction; and to other persons at your direction or with your consent.
Current Website providers and technologies include Webflow for website hosting and delivery, Mailchimp for the waitlist, YouTube for embedded video, Google-hosted web-font delivery, and interface libraries delivered through content-delivery networks. Those providers may process technical or interaction information under their own notices.
5. Sale, Sharing, and Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. Based on the Pre-Launch Website configuration reviewed as of the Effective Date, we do not intentionally use the Website for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide legally required notice, consent, or opt-out choices.
6. Email Choices
You may unsubscribe from PODremit™ marketing or waitlist email by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting privacy@sojispheresolutions.com. We may still send non-promotional communications reasonably necessary to respond to your request, administer a relationship, or comply with the law.
7. Legal Bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on consent; steps taken at your request before entering a contract; performance of a contract; compliance with legal obligations; and legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and communicating about the Pre-Launch Website and planned product, balanced against your rights.
8. Retention
We retain waitlist and inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested updates, manage communications, evaluate opportunities, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may unsubscribe from promotional email at any time. When information is no longer required, we delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to backups and lawful holds.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information in light of its nature and the risks involved. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Do not send sensitive financial, identity, biometric, or health information through ordinary email or the waitlist.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live and whether a law applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection; withdraw consent; opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and appeal a denied request. To submit a request, email privacy@sojispheresolutions.com with the subject "PODremit Privacy Request" and state your request and place of residence. We may verify your identity or authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable right.
11. California and Nigerian Visitors
If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies, California residents may have rights to know, correct, delete, receive information about collection and disclosure, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not claim that statutory thresholds apply merely because we describe those rights. Visitors in Nigeria may have applicable rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, including rights to be informed, access, rectification, erasure where applicable, restriction, portability, objection, and complaint. Rights remain subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.
12. Children
The Pre-Launch Website and waitlist are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate. Eligibility rules for any future PODremit™ account will appear in the product terms before launch.
13. International Transfers
Sojisphere is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other places where our providers operate. Where required, we use a lawful transfer basis or safeguard. This statement does not mean that a U.S.-Nigeria payment corridor or live payment service is operational.
14. Third-Party Sites
The Pre-Launch Website may link to third-party sites or contain embedded services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We are not responsible for services we do not control.
15. Changes
We may update this Policy as the Website, product design, providers, or legal obligations change. We will revise the Effective Date and provide additional notice of material changes where required. A separate or revised product notice will be required before live transactional processing begins.
